"Downtown", the main extract from the
"Nola Is Calling" project The Jarring Effects label unveils NOLA IS
CALLING, third volume of the "World Wide Effects" collection. A music
trip to the heart of the Black Indians community of New Orleans. As a prelude
to the release of the album "Sewing Machine Effects" pre-March 1,
here is the first extract with the invitee of Downtown. After Cape Town Effects
in South Africa and D Lights in the city of Detroit, the label arrives with its
microphones and crookederas in the inlet, in the heart of the tribe of
"Black Indians". It was in this ruinous area of southern Louisiana that Native
Americans encountered and helped leash slaves on the run. From this conjuncture
sprang a fierce spirit of resistance. This elocal area network of freedom is
found in a common culture still present today in leash festive wanderings of
fat Tuesdays and leash canticle incantatory voodoo. This music made of brewings
and encounters has resulted in an unedited sound project. A clever mix of
African polyrhythms with idle words and cool-spring, Indian rituals and
electro, this is the call of the "Big Chiefs", leash Indian Mardi
Gras Chefs from the shores of Mississippi ... NOLA IS CALLING . "Downtown",
first single of the project "Nola Is Calling" to be found on all
platforms Pre-order of the album on Bandcamp (Released on March 1, 2019)
A very personal interpretation that, looking for a little, illustrates the side "fantastic story" of this opus. This week's album is the young of a wonderful project. The third part of the World Wide Effect: "Since now 5 if understanding continue an adventure outside the international standard in three parts. A musical project based on the production of a creation between local and French artists, a documentary portrait, an authentic, unformatted appearance of a city, catchword from the inside, across is waiting for artists, but not only. Can we read on the place of the label Jarring effects.
The process of this project has been rolled. The result is the documentary Call & Response, recounted with Big General Jermaine, representative of mardi-gras indians, and Hasizzle, the rising star of the bound chime scene.
In fact, it's the pace of leash trees that call. It's people who love very loudly music and a filly who always writes stuff and who especially, knows indians who fountain of nothingness. Say to the three people: "Come on boat and after we play with Indian chiefs that leash people know there pace".
They have received a call, the one coming from the other side of the Atlantic. Where the sou c'east of water and leash Spanish beards, they grow on leash trees.
